Each year people unite from all corners of the world to raise awareness and to challenge the stigma that persists around Alzheimer’s disease and all types of dementia.
TEAM ALZ – In For A Cure team leader, Dena, is advocating for greater awareness and understanding around Alzheimer and Dementia. Alzheimer and Dementia impacts over 55 million people globally and unfortunately it came into Dena’s life. Her dad was diagnosed in late 2014 at the young age of 64. In 2015 she started doing the Alzheimer walks in his honor. Sadly, in 2021 Dena lost him but she continues to walk and raise as much as she can in his memory.
Rustic Creations USA has supported Dena for the past 4 years to help her raise money to end this disease and this year is no different.
